04/03/24 Season has ended. 29/01/24 Not done anything for some time, but nothing too much to report, our team (Snooker 2) had a massive 6 week break since we were knocked out of the Team k/o. Shortened the fixtures. Also added a score card/ sheet, as we have run out at the Snooker club. 30/10/23 The committee decided that team K/O is to be played as 10 singles and 3 doubles 21/09/23 FIXTURES are available 13/09/23 Just heard that the league started 24th Seppt 2023. I wish the committee would use an email distrubution list, so everyone knows league details. 02/09/23 Copied from Facebook, where else Minutes from AGM 13th August - 147 Club New chairman - K Roadknight Vice chairman - K Rae Treasurer- C Keeble Fixtures And Competition - D Simnett Secretary - B Saynor 1- International Rules will replace world rules. 2- 3 sets of five singles will replace 2 sets of 6 singles 3- 1st 10 names will be written down with alternate breaks(same as last year)so individuals can have 1 break each, then final 5 names put down after the first 10 games have been completed. The final 5 names can be anyone even if they have already played ,so in theory you could play 3 games. 4- Sponsorship will be from The Cork for all competitions 5- Signing on fees will remain at £45 6- Number of teams entering will follow registration next week 7- 1/2 spare weeks for catch up games, one half way through the season and one at the end of the season, if games are not caught up within the 2 free weeks, committee decision on loss of points will be final 8- Minimum of at least 5 players on a night for a game 9- A Sunday evening prior to the season starting will be arranged at The Cork for a practice on International rules, details to follow Regards Minutes
